3961 entries for this category: I can not say for sure why the disciples didn't want the little children to go to Jesus. Maybe they thought that the children didn't understand and were too young. Jesus allowed the little children to come because in their youth, they were trusting, obedient and faithful - attributes that are required when you belong to the Kingdom of Heaven. By not listening to the other partner and making assumptions that could lead you into incorrect actions which then festers hardness of heart with both partners. You can avoid hardness of heart by being open, trusting and listening. Why didn`t the disciples want little children to come to Jesus? Why did Jesus allow the little children to come?

Jesus asked the blind man what they wanted Him to do. What do you want Jesus to do for you? I would want Jesus to cleanse my heart so that it would be worthy for Him to dell in it and to open my spiritual eyes so that I could see Him and follow His commands.
