Why do you think Jesus chose, after he rose, to show Himself first to Mary Magdalene? You can't be for sure, but I think it was to increase Mary's faith in Jesus.

Why did Jesus first forgive the paralytic`s sins, and only later heal him? What lesson was he trying to communicate? For this paralytic man was sinful and was his sin that paralised him so Jesus forgave him first and healed him later. Jesus was trying to tell the multitudes that He had authority on earth to forgive sins.
