Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable? Yes Jesus believed lowly people are very valuable. He treated the lowly people as equal as those the world sees as more valuable. He spent time with them as needed, He did not exclude anyone. With children, He said that the Kingdom of God belonged to such as them, that receive in faith gladly. He stepped outside the social boundaries required for a Jew in His class at the time and associated with the "worst sinners". He loved and valued each of us that He would come down from heaven to be humiliated, rejected, betrayed, misunderstood, poor, mistreated, falsely accused, homeless, lonely, tempted, face enormous sufferings, killed on the cross for all of us and would do it even if it were for one of us.
