He meant that even if you die physically, as long as you believe, you will live eternally with Jesus in the Kingdom of GOd. I beleive Jesus wept because he was moved by the love that others had for Lazarus

Why did Jesus delay for two days before going to see Lazarus? As Jesus said in the passage, "this sickness is not death, but for the glory of God, that God's Son may be glorified by it"

Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? Because He came to fullfill the law, we can obey the commandments by doing just what Christ asked us to do, i.e. love one another. If we have love then we would not want to kill or steal or lie or any of the things the ten commandments teaches us not to do. It a new covenment for us, the old no longer apply to us.
