What was it about Jesus` answer that caused the Pharisees and Herodians to marvel?

They marvelled because it was a brilliant answer. Jesus seperated the earthly "material" aspect from the spiritual aspect by advising them to give what is due to Caeser (since his image was on the coin), and give the things that are due to God which are spiritual and obeying God's laws

Why was the Kingdom of God taken away from the chief priests and Pharisees?

Because the chief priests and Pharisees did not believe Jesus is the Son of God and planned to kill Him as they did to God's many other prophets.

Why was the king so angry when those invited did not come to the wedding banquet? What point was Jesus making with this parable?

Because the king extended gratitude and was glaw to invite the guests to share in his sons marraige, yet the guests did not care. Jesus was showing advising us that many are called, some chose to ignore the call, and other come but are not worthy
