Why did Peter begin to sink when he became afraid? When is it wrong to be afraid? Peter began to sink when his faith started wavering because of the storm. It is just human weakness like most of us, would do. We have to have faith in all kinds of weather and trails. We can do thi sby praticing our faith and reading the Bible when stroms come up or when the un is shining.
