Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?

Yes he does. He came to save the lost, loney sinner who doesn't have any hope. The so called religous people of his day, thought they knew everything, by just being able to memorize the law of Moses and and appear to follow it. Nothing Jesus said was going to get throught to their hardened hearts. Those people who thought God couldn't love them, that's who the Father wanted Jesus to go to , show his perfect love and forgiveness. He died for us lonely sinners on the cross!!! His love for us is beyond human mesure. Its overwhelming at times just how much Jesus loves us.

Why does the Father hide things from the wise and intelligent and reveal them to infants?

The Father hides things from the wise and intelligent and reveal them to infants because the intelligent and the wise think they know all and don't need the Father whereas the infants need and depend on the Father.

What was Jesus trying to teach people when He deliberately violated the Sabbath in order to heal people?

That the HE prefers mercy over sacrifice. He states that it is okay to do good on the Sabath and that He is the ruler over the Sabath
