Jesus caused those who see to become blind because they didn't believe in Him the Son of God.

What are some of the ways God`s work was displayed in the blind man?

Jesus' healing of the blind man is unique in few aspects: this man was blind from birth and everyone knew, so the healing itself was not phony since some might be skeptical about Jesus' previous miracles-God's work beyond human reason. Jesus made this explicit to his disciples that his blindness was not caused by sin, which to the Jews, was bucolically grounded-God's work beyond the limited perception of message from the Scripture by the human. Jesus' way to heal was to mix up his saliva with mud and put on the man's eyes-God's work beyond human's wisdom and method. Jesus' did this on Sabbath-God's work beyond human tradition and beyond the box human create for themselves to see God.

Jesus insisted on healing on the Sabbath because He conceded that to do good on Sabbath is allowable.
