Why did John introduce Jesus as "the Lamb of God"? Jesus was introduced as the Lamb of God because Jesus was sacfriced as a lamb during passover, to take away the sins of the world so that we can have eternal salvation. Through this our relationship with God would be repaired.

Why did John introduce Jesus as "the Lamb of God"? John introduced Jesus as "the Lamb of God" because lamb was the animal sacrified to God by His people for their sins they committed and Jesus at that time would offer Himself to God the Father for our sins for good in due time.
