What is in the heart of the tax collector (rejected by society) that the Pharasee (religious leader) seems to lack?

The heart of the tax collecter is repentance and being humble befor the Lord.He new he was a sinner in need of forgiveness.

What request have you given up asking of God and what would Jesus say?

I don't give up asking God for needs for myself or family.Howerver, I don't keep praying and asking God for other peoples needs.I do pray for them but not in a persistent way.

What request have you given up asking of God and what would Jesus say?

I have given up asking of God to reunite me with the wife who divorced me because God finally showed me what Paul said in Philipians 3:13 Forget the past and get on with life. So I did give up. However, I never give up to ask God to help me move to Aruba; the island God led me there for the Short Term Mission, to be His instrument there to help Rev. Li there on any errans.
