What does Jesus mean that "Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled and whoever humbles himself will be exalted"? Jesus looks at the heart and not at our position in the world.If you are humble at heart you will be exalted.If you are full of pride and honor yourself, you will be humbled.

What does Jesus mean that "Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled and whoever humbles himself will be exalted"? Jesus means that whoever fill their belly with the east wind have their earthly rewards and whoever think and act lowly(humble themselves) will be rewarded in heaven.
