Love is the key word to intimacy with Him, we obey when we love someone .This proves our love, it is followed by obedience.Love is showed in action, not just in words. I would thank Him for dying on the cross for me.I would ask him to teach me things I need to know to serve him better.I would ask him to help me be an overcomer in every area of trouble that comes my way.I would like him to do most of the talking and sit at his feet and listen to what he has to say. How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment?
