Why did Jesus say, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and announce the Kingdom of God"? What it means is that let others bury the dead and you go out and spread the gospel. If you want to serve the Lord you have to give up everything and take His cross daily. Let all nations and people you meet know about Jesus' Love, and how He takes away all your hurts and pain and you give him your sins and He fills you with Love and unbelieveable peace.

Why did Jesus say, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and announce the Kingdom of God"? Jesus said that because we have work to do....announcing the good news and not to worry about any other thing. When we believe in Jesus, bury with Him in water(baptize) and rise with Him.
