Jesus proved to John that He was the Messiah predicted by the prophet Isaiah by the power of the Father God by giving sight to the blind, the lame walk, most of all the dead come back to life. Who can raise the dead but God the Almighty.

What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?

I was interested to learn the difference between the Pharisees and Saducees. The former appear to be much like today's Rabbis in the Jewish faith, and the Saducees seem to have been more political and devious. Jesus appears to have concentrated on being a good Jew as a developing youngster, "for starters", as it were, and then developed the new message by his teaching methods, exemplary life, and performance of miracles.

How does Jesus describe the person who calls him "Lord" but doesn`t do what he says?

Jesus describes them as foolish, especially if they don't build on rock, which really means these people are not relying on the Lord for their belief.
