3961 entries for this category: What do you think Jesus was feeling at the point of his arrest? Jesus was feeling that this had to happen because it was prophesized. He knew He had to give up His Life for our sins. Judas was just a mere instrument to help fill the prophesy. We are like Judas at times when we denied Jesus for money, money was our god and yes we give up friendships, relationships, all for the greed of money. When we do that we are asking for a death like judas and eternal damnation.

The religious leaders assembled a court to judge Jesus. Jesus answered only one charge made against him, and also gave evidence to prove the charge. What was the charge and for what was Jesus determined guilty? Jesus answered that He was the son of the Blessed and that He will be coming down from the sky, He meant His Father, Almighty God. It is so sick and disheartening the treatment Jesus got from the people and the high priests, it's like were living like that all over again in my community anyway. They are persecuting the christians in our community ravaged with sin.

When Peter realised he had denied knowing Jesus, why did he cry? Peter cried because he knew he let down Jesus and was afraid to be persecuted like him. We humans have done that time and time again denied Jesus. We believe in Him but we have not accepted Him in our hearts and that is why we deny Him.
