The prophets are the people with holy spirit dwell in them who know the happening of future. Jesus brought the man outside the village before performing the miracle because He didn't want to show-off His power, I think. For those who donot see and believe are blessed. Jesus was commited to sacrifice his own life. What did he mean by the statement, "For who ever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel will save it"? For whoever wants to save his own life will lose it means he who is self-centre and put God aside to live the worldly life will not have eternal life. Whoever does the will of God and live godly will have eternal life.
