If you were Mark, writing a short report to demonstrate to a Roman audience that Jesus (a Jewish man) was "the Son of God", what would you include in that report? If I were Mark, I would quote the teaching of Jesus the wisdom He gave to those who had ears to listen, the miracles He did by healing the lepers, the blind, the lames and raised the deaths.
