What request have you given up asking of God and what would Jesus say? I haven't given up, I think we must keep asking and God will answer when he is ready, or not at all. I think he will let us know when he is not going to answer our request.

What is in the heart of the tax collector (rejected by society) that the Pharasee (religious leader) seems to lack? The tax collector was being very humble and was asking to be forgiven for his wrong doings. He was confessing and wanting to become a better person, while the Pharasee was judging himself to be great when in realaity, God will be the judge of how great we are.
