27012 entries for this category: who decides when we die? some people have several close calls and others just die.why do some suffer and others not. I'm sure there is a sense of joy like the father experienced in the story. He was so overcome with joy, that he had the fattened calf killed to celebrate the return of his son. I can't imagine the joy it brings the good LORD when one of his children returns with a repentant heart. If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?

Based on Jesus` story, how does God the Father feel when a lost child returns home? The father saw in the heart of his son, sinner no more. The son asked for forgiveness and sincerely repented and this is what our forgiving God asks of us sinners and what He will do for those of us that truly repent and ask for His forgiveness with a true and humble heart. And God is joyful.
