How does Jesus want to care for the people of Jerusalem (Israel), and how do they respond? He wants the people of Jerusalem to follow Him as the Messiah, and to accept the One who sent Him. They crucify Him.

How does Jesus want to care for the people of Jerusalem (Israel), and how do they respond? It appears as if JESUS wants to bless this land and its people, but apparently they are not open/ready to receive him. Thusly, he moves on to where their is greater thirst for his ministry.
