Being rich towards God means that if you are blessed with abundance of material riches, you should be willing to share and to do good for others not quite as blessed. Having too much and building bigger to store more is being a little greedy and greed is one of the things God frowns upon. God is more concerned with you spiritual wealth not monitary wealth.

What does Jesus want people (you) to feel when he says that God pays attention to every little bird and numbers of every hair on your head? God wants you to know that every person is just as important to him as any one person. To God, if you are a believer in him and a follower of his commandments, you are one that takes second seat to no one.
