To me, compassion is total empathy and selfless caring for others. Jesus stated his people did not "get" it when understanding was offered and, with tears in His eyes for their misunderstanding, foretold of their destruction. My goal and my prayer for all mankind is that we "get" it and the world becomes a more compassionate place.

Define "Compassion"? A sense of love, care that promotes action upon a desperate and hopeless situation at hand. This is a feeling but it involves the entire person...i believe that it springs out of deep love, care, and mercy...a short definition might be a special niceness that is based on truth. I see Jesus being able to impersonate compassion in its fullest meaning...
