As the Son of God, and the sacrifical Lamb He had to feel both the physical pain and the emotional pain of seperation from the Heavenly father that sinners face, daily. If He did not suffer physically and emotional pain than His coming to earth from heaven would have amounted to nothing. Jesus knows that God will provide so He tells His twelve to take nothing for the journey. Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

20 OCT - 24 OCT 11 JESUS HAD TO FEEL THE PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL PAIN SO IT COULD BE WITNESSED BY OTHERSAS A SIGN OF OUR TRANSGRESSIONS AGAINS GOD THAT WERE BEING FORGIVEN. JESUS HAD TO SEPERATE FROM GOD TO CARRY ALL OUR SINSFOR US TO BE SAVED AND TO BRING US CLOSER TO GOD.
