27012 entries for this category: I would say that it is by having a one on one relationship with him. He knows everyhting about you and I believe he wants us to know everything about him. Have a relationship with him. How does Jesus describe the person who calls him "Lord" but doesn`t do what he says? We can proclaim to be servents of the "Lord" but if we do not practice and live by his words, we have no chance to be in the Kingdom of God and have everlasting life and peace. If we don't follow his word, when we are faced with turmoil or despair we will be like the house build on sand or the tree with just surface roots, we will be swept away by temptation.

What do you find astonishing about this centurion (leader of Roman soldiers)? It is astonishing to me that this centurion would send word to Jesus to not come to his house as he was unworthy, but believed Jesus could heal by authority alone. Blessings.
