I believe that God wanted us to understand if we treat everyone as Jesus did, then we would naturally cover the rest of the commandments too. So the 'new" commandment would cover the rest, if we do according to Gods will. God is GREAT!!

Can you think of examples where Jesus modeled this radical teaching? Jesus showed kindness to those who mocked Him while He was teaching and when He was dying on the cross for our sins He asked His Father to forgive. Blessings.

Can you think of examples where Jesus modeled this radical teaching? We just studied where Jesus sat with the tax collectors even though they were evil and dishonest. Jesus while being among the leaders of the holy temple healed a man on the sabath that was considered an act against a comandment of God. And yes, his most radical example was sacrificing himself on the cross to wipe away the sins for all and to give everyone a fresh start for eternal salvation.
