27012 entries for this category: I believe the primary emphasis was placed on teaching the people that the kingdom of GOD was at hand. Exposing them to it and helping them to understand and embrace the truth (the good news). JESUS could have spent more time healing the physically afflicted, but preparing them mentally & spiritually was of primary importance. Why didn`t Jesus spend more time healing people? At times the children of God need to see the workings of the power of God through his son Jesus. The people had to learn the teachings of God and follow his commandments to live the coveted life. Jesus was a teacher and at times it was almost like a show and tell was needed.
