What are your learning goals for John`s biography of Jesus?

First, to keep renewing my mind and build on the portion of faith i was given. I would also like to have a clearer understanding of my Lord and savior, so i can imitate Jesus to the best of my ability through the holy Spirit.

What caused Nathanael to see Jesus as the Son of God and King of Israel?

Nathanael saw Jesus as son of God after knowing that Jesus had seen him sitted under a fig tree before Philip called him.

The fig tree was very significant in this verse. *The internal represents good (trunk) springing forth evidence of love and affection (branch), covered in truth (leaves). It signals a time of newness and change, for the church of Christ. The Spirit of God initiates this transformation in the hearts of man.
