How did John`s testimony prepare people to receive Jesus and His message? John spoke of the One that was among the people whose sandal strap he was not worthy of loosening. He prepared people by speaking of the Most Holy Jesus, the only Son of God, and baptizing with water preparing us to be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

Why was sending Jesus to live on earth such an effective way for God to tell people about Himself? Sending Jesus to live on earth was such an effective way for God to tell people about himself because we as humans, unfortunately, needed to see to believe. This created witnesses to later tell of Jesus for generations to come so that all would believe.
