Jesus said that asking for something in His Name, and receiving the answer, will bring glory to the Father. Jesus wanted to always point to the Father. The Father answers the prayer. And if it is prayed in the Name of Jesus, we know we are praying to the "right" God, and not a false God. We are praying to the Father of Jesus. Answering the prayer brings Him glory, where it belongs.

What are your learning goals for John`s biography of Jesus? My learning goals are that Jesus came to us out of love for us from the Father, in accordance with scripture and I try to live this everyday. Blessing.
