He was convinced at this time that Jesus WAS/IS the son of God. When Jesus "breathed his last" and was pronounced dead; why did The Roman centurion glorify god? When the Centurion saw the sun darkened and heard Jesus commit his spirit to God. He knew in his Heart he had seen God moving. The veil was torn in two so Gods children could go thru Jesus directly to the throne.
