Whenever anyone mocks Jesus, I hurt. I take it personally because Jesus is in me and around me. He is my Savior, so for anyone to mock Him shows their disbelief that He is the creator of all things in the Heavens and the earth, and is the only way to salvation. However, I remember that Jesus told us that he would be mocked. And during the end of time this behavior is sure to increase. Therefore, I feel bad for the mockers because they are lost and do not realize that hell is waiting for them. Also, concerning those who mock. Mocking serves to cast doubt to the believer. Christians can experience mocking from without and within, self doubt. But we must ask God to remove the doubts and keep our faith supplied.

If neither Herod nor Pilate found anything worthy of death to convict Jesus of then why was he sentenced to death?

Pilate did not want to sentence Jesus to death since he found that Jesus had done nothing to deserve that punishment. However, the people insisted that he was quilty of blasphemy and shouted that Barabbas be released and Jesus be crucified. Pilate turned Jesus over to the people.

Why do you think Jesus did not speak to Herod nor answer Pilate?

Jesus knew that it would come to pass as the scripture was written....that he would be cruficied. Whatever he may have said would not have mattered.
