27012 entries for this category:Peter denied Jesus three times, as another show of lack of faith, just like when he walked on water and took his eyes off the Lord and sank. I believe Jesus used this as a teaching opportunity to show that we will be tested in our faith and to always look to God for strength. We fail in the flesh. Although Peter was confident that he would never deny Christ, Jesus showed Peter how our hearts can be deceiveing. Peter was still learning who Jesus really was inspite of all Jesus had shown him.

Why do you think Jesus did not speak to Herod nor answer Pilate? It would not have mattered. Jesus already knew the plan. He knew because his father guided him through everything that he was to do.
