Temptation is the impulse, drive, desire to commit sin.  It is all around us and the only defense we have against temptation is the Spirit of God.  As long as we are in the Spirit, in communication with the Father, through Jesus, and with the aid of our advocate, we can over come temptation.

Praying has helped me in many ways. I have learned to pray constantly.  The biggest gift of prayer is the development of an ongoing, intimate relationship with Christ, and deepening my faith to trust God's will. Prayer allows me to connect with the Holy Spirit. I am learning more and more how to permit the Holy Spirit to lead my heart.
