If Jesus knew he was being betrayed "behold, the hand of him who betrays me", why not tell who was the betrayer?
Ibelieve Jesus didn't reveal who the betrayer was because it was part of God's plan and nothing was going to interrupt God's timetable of when Jesus was going to die on the cross for all our sins.

Judas was one of the 12 men closest to Jesus. Why would Judas betray Jesus?
Judas showed weakness so Satan was able to enter him. It was because of this that the Scribes were able to convince Judas to betray Jesus.

Judas was one of the 12 men closest to Jesus. Why would Judas betray Jesus?

Judas' greatest weakness seemed to be money. Or rather, his lack of honesty with money. Judas wasn't merely greedy, he was an outright thief (John 12:4-6). In the end, he betrayed Jesus for the payment of 30 silver coins (Matthew 26:15)

It was written...A naturally corrupt man was required for the role of betrayer, and Judas Iscariot was the best available candidate

Jesus did know that Judas would betray Him long beforehand: "For Jesus knew from the first who those were that did not believe, and who it was that would betray Him." (John 6:64 RSV). And, "Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?" He spoke of Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was to betray Him." (John 6:70-71 RSV)

Possibly Judas was simply fulfilling the plan that God had for his life. Maybe Judas didn't even have a choice, because he was predestined to betray Jesus.
