Why did Jesus notice the widow`s gift and tell his disciples? Jesus saw the strong faith that the widow had. She gave all she had, so her total dependence is on God. Jesus wanted his disciples to understand this total dependence. I pray that i can have strong faith like that one day!

Why did Jesus notice the widow`s gift and tell his disciples? She retained NOTHING of her worldly purchasing power. Jesus knows she is totally dependant upon FATHER.
