What was in Jesus` heart that made him weep as he looked down on Jerusalem? Jesus wept as he looked down on Jersalem because he knew that they had the opportunity to believe he was the Son of God, sent down to save us, but chose not to believe and therefore would be destroyed.

What was in Jesus` heart that made him weep as he looked down on Jerusalem? Jesus knew the people of Jerusalem di not see the evil and the misbelieving of false gods. He was saddened because they had strayed away from God's Commandments and he also knew he was their salvation and would die for them as ask for their forgivness.
