Despite what we do, how we live our lives, that one day that we come to know Jesus as our Savior would be the most peace we would have. When we confess our sins and repent Jesus would not allow us to perish, but would give us everlasting life in Him. Jesus confirms that certain suffering is not linked to one`s behavior. What does Jesus warn about the suffering (punishment) that is linked to one`s behavior?

People often blame God for allowing suffering, but who does Jesus hold responsible for this woman`s suffering? Jesus held Satan responsible for allowing this woman to live with this suffering for eighteen years. She did not know God and was bound by Satan, but Jesus called the ruler of the Synagogue a hypocrite because he was thinking about rules rather than human life and about saving people.
