Based on Jesus` story, how does God the Father feel when a lost child returns home?

God was very happy that he feel to his son's feet because he came back home alive and healthy... no matter has disobedient we are to GOD when we fall and reach out for his help... he is happy to be there to catch us and rejoice in it!!!

How does the host respond when people reject his dinner invitation in order to pursue their possessions and relationships?

The host became angry and told his servant to go out to the alleys of yhe town and bring me the lame, the blind, the poor, the crippled... he servant reported back to Jesus and told he that their was still a lot of room left... Jesus told him to go to the roads and the country lane and urge the people to come so my house will be full... he wanted to fill the room because none of the man he invited will eat with him.

What does Jesus mean that "Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled and whoever humbles himself will be exalted"?

Jesus is saying that we must take care of people that are in need of our help... knowng that we are not looking for something in return... those who help the needy will be repayed and blessed by our Heavenly Father. I found that through out my life I have helped people that didn't need the help and I was taken for granted. Now I help people that don't have the resources to repay me back and they treat me with much gratitude and respect.
