Define "Resurrection"?

Resurrection means to be raised from the dead. Resurrection is mentioned several times in the Bible. I am (Jesus) the Resurrection and the Life. Without Jesus' resurrection none of us would have a chance of being raised to eternity.

Why did Jesus notice the widow`s gift and tell his disciples?

When Jesus looked up and saw the rich giving there gifts and the poor widow giving her's he noticed the difference between them. The rich gave of their increase, they gave not from the heart but from some of their excess while the widow gave her all to do the Lord's work. She gave willingly, lovingly, she gave her all to the Lord because she loved Him and she knew that he would bless her immensely. This was faith at work at its highest level, giving up all without worrying where she would get the next morsel of meal or anything to live on or off.
