Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

The sufferings of the Lord had to be like that because it was already prophesied from the scriptures that He must past through all those stages of emotional and physical pain in order to bring redemption, salvation, deliverance, healings to making.

Jesus had a vision with His vision for the whole world He would not have passed through what He suffered.  If you have a mission, ministry, message without vision, it is nothing.  The vision of Jesus that He received from His father in Heaven to have agreed to suffer the way He died enabled Him to achieve what He has achieved and is achieving today.

I am one of the people that Jesus saved and delivered because He suffered physical and emotional pain for me who died , resurrected and alive for evermore.

"Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?)

I don't think Jesus was trying to incite His own death because He knew for a fact that it was His destiny and purpose to be brought as lamb to be slaughtered for mankind inorder for them to find redemption.

Christ has the effect of unifying enemies against Him.  Herod and pilate were formerly enemies.  But now they had a common enemy who was even more so.

Jesus said His teachings would be divisive - even inciting violence, but not unifying.  In fact, He willingly submitted to His own unjust execution.

But, hallelujah!  He is still Alive! and He Reigns for EVERMORE!!

Jesus did not commit any sins either in thought or in actions, but he was killed on a cross. Why?
