227 entries for this category: The purposes that Jesus accomplished while on earth: He demonstrated God's love by obeying God's command. Sacrificing himself for others. He gave His life as a ransom for many. To help people understand the kingdom of God. To bring good news to the lowly, the broken-hearted, those who are sick and in pain and to comfort those who need to be comforted. If you love me you will obey what I command and I will ask the Father and He will give you another Counsellor to be with you forever. The world cannot accept Him because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you. Experiencing intimacy with Jesus does not simply come through prayer; it comes through obedience. So we need to pray for one another to understand the commands of Jesus, to develop a deeper love for Him and to express that love in action.
