13 entries for this category: Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem in Judea more than 2000 years ago. He was raised in Nazareth and he was a carpenter. When he was about 30 years old he started to do God's ministry in Israel. He did many maraculous signs and wonders. He taught thousands of people who followed him about the kingdom of God, God's love, loving one another and the judgement at the end of the age. He served God's ministry about 3 years. When his time came he was arrested and killed but three days later he was raised from thed death. After that he stayed on earth for 40 days. About 500 people saw him and then he assended to heaven in fron of the very eyes. Define "Compassion"? Compassion is a strong feeling of sympathy and sadness for the suffering or bad luck of others and a wish to help the. Jesus has compassion on the blind it means that he has a strong feeling of sympathy and sadness for the suffering or bad luck of the blind and he needs to help him immediately.

What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you? I learned about the languaguage that Jesus used for his every day life. He was born in hard time. There was the Roman empire occupied the country.
