I can relate easily to his situation (political, cultural etc) because in the Philippines the present situation is the same.

How is it that the Christ is descended from David, and yet David still calls Him Lord? Jesus Christ became human through the descendant of David and yet He is directly the son of God who wants to become human to save us.

What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you? I was not surprised that in this lessons there was a mention of Jesus brothers and sisters.It is all based in the interpretation of who you want it to be.That is the reason that were studying only one bible but theres so many interpretation,resulting to so many denomination.
