false teachers

Don't let your learning lead to knowledge, let your learning lead to action. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. -James 1:22

Many Christians I have met are very good at memorizing verses in the bible, excellent in presentation. However, I believe the Lord is more concerned with our heart, our intentions and the things we do with what we learned from His words. In a christian company like ours here in Manila, Philippines I request for prayers that our leaders be enlightened and become doers of the word of GOD. Being responsible persons not just christians we need to be obedient with what the Lord wants us to do and that is to become witness, servants and role models by doing what we preach. I pray for our leaders to be responsible and accountable to the only living Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

Jesus is simply love.

For me, Jesus is love. In His entire life, our Lord persevered not only to teach morality but also to call us back into where we belong. We belong to love. Out of it, we are created in likeness. It is our origin, our very nature, to love one another as Jesus loved us.

But sometimes, we stray and get lost like a sheep. And yet as we go against our nature, turn away from our Sheperd, in the end we find ourselves getting hurt and unfulfilled. Still, in spite of that, Jesus showed to us in His short stay that no matter how we despise Him, He is always waiting... waiting with open arms on the cross.
