Why did Herod try to kill Jesus?

Praise God halelujah. Herod try to kill Jesus because he was so jealous of Jesus. Jesus is a treath to Herod and we humans are like that. We do not feel comfortable when others are more sucessful than we are. Instead of praying for our brothers and sisters we feel jealous about the success of others. If we only know that if we pray for our enemy we are also be bless. Praise God halelujah. Knowing God more we will know that blessing others and not cursing them, we too will be blessed. Thanks God because of His book we learned to bless our enemy and it is the secret of living under open heaven. Praise God halelujah. Herod is not free at that time. He is full of bitterness that's why he though of bad things about Jesus even to the point of killing Him but God is with Jesus so he was not able to succeed in his plans. Praise God halelujah and up to this time many are still herods today. Praise God halelujah. Thank you very much. I love Jesus, I love holy spirit and I love you Father God.
