What do you value so much that if you lost it, you would do everything possible to find it?

I would not want to lose any of my family esp my children. God forbid! I value them so much that they are always included in my prayers, in my communication with God. I value so much too my relationship with God and His love that I will always keep on trying to be worthy of His love, with His grace, with the Holy Spirit. Because I know I cannot do it on my own, with my human frailties and all.

Why does Jesus tell the growing crowd that one must be willing to renounce everything, including one`s own life, to be Jesus` follower?

Jesus meant that whoever wants to be His follower should put Him first above all else in his life, in this world. That Jesus should be his priority, his main focus in life. Its the first commandment actually, to love God above all else!

Gods ultimate purpose for creating us

For the greatest commandment is to love thy God with all of our heart , with all of our spirit and all of our mind then if we do this , then we have no trouble in following the second commandment that is to love they neighbor as theyself.

If we prioritize God then we are focus what is right and what is just .
