What do you find astonishing about this centurion (leader of Roman soldiers)? When he heard about Jesus, he sent ot him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and save his servant and when Jesus was not far from the house, he was humble and said , `Lord don't trouble yourself, for I am not worthy for you to come under my roof....' and he had faith in Christ..`...and my servant will be healed.....'

How does Jesus describe the person who calls him "Lord" but doesn`t do what he says? He who hears, and doesn't do, is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream broke, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.
