5333 entries for this category: It is done so, for the mankind to realize and visibly seen how HE loved and ransomed us from SIN though HE was mocked, Jesus still there for us. Spritual separation from God most of us doesn't known it,It is just between GOD and HIS son Jesus. so, I think there's a need to show to mankind how it feels being executed for us to remember HIM how HE died for our sins. Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? Even Jesus is the Son of God, He still suffered the pain as a human being. I think, this would show to us how he loves us and He is willing to pay for our sins.

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? The scripture should be fulfilled from the book of Isaiah 53:5"But he was wounded for our transgression, he was bruised for iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we, are healed".
