(lev19:18) But in John13:34,Jesus said, "A new command I give you:Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. In this new command, Jesus tells us to love others just as He has loved others. It is a a kind of love that is harder to do. It is a dying to self kind of love that is not natural to us. It is supernatural. It can only be done with the power of the Holy Spirit. Why did not the Father let the cup pass and spare Jesus the pain of the crucifiction? THE FATHER GOD LET ALL THESE THINGS TO HAPPEN IN ORDER FOR US TO BE SAVE FROM OUR SINS AND JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY WE HAVE TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE. JESUS IS THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE OF GOD AS HIS SON, ENDURING ALL THE PAIN IN THE CROSS IN ORDER FOR US TO LIVE OR TO HAVE AN ETERNAL LIFE. JESUS AS A PLEASING SACRIFICE. HE OFFERED HIMSELF FOR US.

Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? Jesus call love one another an new commandment, because this is the first time begining from the entire old testamnet he gave emphasize about loving each other.
