Why was it wrong for the servant to bury the talent?

God-given talent is to be utilizeed and not buried. It is to be used to enrich yourself and others about God and His kingdom and how to live an upright life. If you bury this talent and forget about it, it becomes useless and wrong.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.

God is ever-willing to forgive us if we sincerely are sorry as He is rich in mercy and slow to anger. Forgiving others for their sins against us requires us to reconcile with others and show our compassion to them without conditions attached. To do this, love and compassion is required especially to those whom we consider our enemies. It needs a lot of humility and love to be able to forgive others and the grudges we have for them. Similarly, God forgiveness on us is motivated by the love and afftection He has for us and is unconditional if we are really sincere about it. This will foster a strong bond of relationship with God and be closer to Him eventually.
